  Who Does Al-Qaeda Fear More?

LOL. Here are a few points: "Do you think Al-Qaeda kind of enjoys John Kerry saying let's take our defense and give it to the UN and the French and the Germans and his current anti-war propaganda and all of his anti-war votes? So do you think Al-Qaeda is going to be more interested in Kerry and his war record, or his votes as a senator? Do you think Al-Qaeda is going to be more interested in Bush and his National Guard service, or his service as commander-in-chief? And between Kerry and Bush, or Edwards and Bush, who do you think Al-Qaeda might hope to win this election? And how might Al-Qaeda choose to impact our election in this country? This is what you have to think about. This is who the enemy is. This is what we're fighting. If Democrats want to cast themselves as anti-war and anti-American superpower, let 'em - and let 'em get mad when we call 'em on it. Once again, my friends, a very simple question: "Who does Al-Qaeda fear more?" You know, it's no different than, "Who did the Iranian terrorists prefer, Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan?" They were so afraid of Reagan, they let the hostages go as soon as Jimmy Carter was gone. So you just got to stay focused on this stuff. You can't allow this mainstream press - this is not just coverage of what's going on. This is sponsorship.

There is a media sponsorship of this Democratic primary. It distinguishes itself from coverage in that there is a vested interest in the outcome. It's not just a bunch of guys standing on the corner watching who wins the Democratic race. It's a bunch of guys who have a vested interest in who wins it, and as such it's the only story that matters to them. That primary has taken Michael Jackson off their minds, Martha Stewart off their minds, Kobe Bryant off their minds. This is big stuff to them." ~Rush
