  Dell Tech Support: Mismanaged or Evil?

I was on hold waiting for Dell Tech Support for so long, I decided to try to solve the problem I was having with Windows myself. This was after I called Microsoft and they transferred me to Dell bc my Windows Serial is from Dell (Purchased with PC). So after I get Transferred to Dell Home Office, I get a wait..... then I finally talk to someone..... he says my Express Service Code is for Big Buisness and not Home Office (I think my dad purchased my PC using his Lockheed Martin discount), so then I get transferred to "big buisness". This wait was pure hell. I never got to talk to anyone bc I eventually solved my own problem and just hung up on them.

Is this some type of scheme to avoid work or hiring new, competent tech support people that are not from India? If you make anyone wait for something long enough, they will eventually figure out how to get it. What a terrible experiance with Dell, if I hadn't figured it out on my own, who knows how long I would of been on...

But here's the creepy thing... if I hadn't figured it out on my own, would I ever of gotten tech support? Their plot has to be to make u wait long enough to solve your own problems, so my guess would be 'no'.
