  Bush: Doing Well

Guess who has a blog? George Bush! Well, not exactly; someone on his campain website has a blog.

Bush is doing great as a leader. He is doing what is in America's best interests. Exploring far off lands is something humanity has always done. We need to continue to do this. A trip to Mars is great! To the naysayers who think we should fix the Earth before we go to other planets: The Earth will NEVER be fixed. We can drain all of our resources making the Earth a perfect place, but it will never be. Now is the time of action, we have the technology to go to Mars, we should use it. Besides, space exploration has tremendous side effects: new products for commercials use, it boosts many contracting industries as well. Space Exploration and defense require people with intelligence, which means high paying jobs are created when the government wants more from these areas. Space Exploartion boosts the economy! This makes everyone do better. With trinkle down economics, the poor benefit from space exploration.

Nuclear Propulsion is also the best choice for getting to Mars. Conventional rockets will take 3 times longer than nuclear power in getting there. Check out UF's INSPI for info on this. Sending supplies there b4 we arrive is best done with conventional; who cares how long it takes them to get there? But for people, a 1 year journey is much better than 3 years. Oh, and using nuclear reactors in space is not going to pollute space with radiation, there is huge amounts of it up there anyway.

This map shows electionprojection.com's guess as to what the 2004 Election results would be if they were held today. "Held Today" is important, b/c with no democrat to rally behind, Bush will do better. There will probably be more blue states the more close we get to November. Poll results have also shown that about 30% of Democrats will be voting for Bush, while 3% of Republicans would be voting for the Democratic Candidate. Right Voices has some interesting pictures of Wesley Clark with wanted Bosnian war criminal Ratko Mladic from 1994. Apparently, the Clinton State Deparment wasn't too happy with Clark over this incident. The pictures, of course, don't mean that Wes Clark supported the massacres perpetrated by Mladic, I don't want to give the impression that they do. But they do evince a serious lack of good judgment by Clark, who bills himself as an expert on foreign policy.

Oh, and here is a funny image. That leads me to the War in Iraq. If most of the democratic candidates were President, Saddam would still be in power, the Iraqi people would be suffering, etc. It's great that we removed Saddam. The majority of nations have some sort of despot for a leader, us taking Saddam out can make them nervous, that is one of the reasons why so many small nations were against us. It shows that if we want to take someone out, we can, and we don't need anyone's permission. We a sovern nation. As time progresses I lose more and more respect for the UN. The United States has been the only nation on the moon. The UN declares that no nation can claim land on any heavenly body. Now, it looks like we may get to Mars too. Why can we just declare these lands ours? It's not like anyone else is going there. Well, I heard the Chinese are going to try to. The UN is so petty as well. The UN wanted America to sign a bill to giving them huge sums of money if "any" nation puts out over a certain amount of greenhouse gases. This bill did not even include India and China, both of which would of had to of paid a pollution fee, because they are developing nations. Give me a break! If the idea of the bill is to reduce global warming, then what is the point of having only the nations the UN feels needs to reduce, and not all nations to an equal level? Why should we conform when others won't? The bill would only hurt our nation and every other one that signs. No wonder India and China were perfectly content with not conforming to their resolution. They kicked us off the human rights board for not signing. And then they appoint a nation that is known for many human-rights violations to the human-rights committee. The UN is so full of crap. It's nice that they want to include small nations in their processes, but c'mon, they lack the experience to know what they are doing.

If there is one person who is trying to make the world a better place, it is Geoge W. Bush. The Economy is rebounding, unemployment is lowering, we are greatly reducing terrorism, we are starting to explore the universe once again, and I still have Bright Futures for college. Bush is going to win in '04. The Democrats do not have a chance. And for the '08 Election, Cheney would be an awesome President. Who cares about health? FDR and Teddy Roosevent had much worse health problems, and look how great they turned out to be. Health does not determine greatness. A good President has character, competence, leadership ability, and charisma.

Belched up with tidings of comfort and joy by Joe at 6:27:00 PM.
