Bumped into the girl I carpooled with in HS, Physical Ed. vs. Engineering
I am glad that engineers get paid more than most professions; I saw a group of what I think were "PE majors" on the field today. They were separated in groups, and when their TA, or whoever teaches them, came to each group they would yell something like "Who's our bitch? You are!" to another group. Then there was soft applause from the other groups, like the type you would imagine would be in poetry readings and such. Damn it! I'm working my ass off finding deflection angles of neutrons in a building with no windows and they're in a sunny field calling each other names? I want to do that! Thank God everyone does not make equal pay.
I met Allison Kreiger the other day just as I stepped outside of the nuke building. I haven't gotten to talk to her since freshman year. It was great; I thought I'd never see her again if I didn't call. She's being stalked by some UF political party that wants her to run as their VP and she has only a few more pagents left, including Miss Florida. We only got to talk tho for like 10 minutes.
